Meet the RINFOR speaker Julian Edwards, Managing Director Europe of Tishman International

Julian Edwards, Managing Director Europe of Tishman International Europe, will be speaking at the forthcoming RINFOR, an online video conference, scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 13 from 10.30 AM CET.

Julian Edwards joined Tishman International Companies more than 28 years ago and is currently the Managing Director of Tishman’s European operations.

Over the years, Julian has been instrumental in acquisitions and investments valued at in excess of 1,4 billion euro. In addition, he has developed approximately € 300 million of property in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and has managed approximately 500,000 square meters of commercial and residential property in the UK and Europe. He was involved in putting together a $52 million real estate fund in Europe and Scandinavia to invest in U.S. property, and for a time run Tishman’s net lease program in the US.

Prior to joining Tishman International Companies, he worked for Land Securities PLC, one of Europe’s largest quoted property companies where he was a manager of a € 4 billion central London commercial and residential portfolio.

Tishman International Companies was formed in 1977 when a group of former senior executives from NYSE-traded Tishman Realty & Construction Co., Inc. formed privately held Tishman West. During the fifteen years that followed, Tishman West built and managed some of the West Coast’s most prominent high-rise office buildings and grew to be one of the largest property management firms in the West. In 1992, Tishman West sold its United States leasing and management operations to a unit of American Express Company and became Tishman International Companies.

Tishman International acquires finances, develops and manages Class A office, retail, logistics warehouse and office and mixed use properties. The company’s most recent expansion was in Sofia, Bulgaria where the company has undertaken the 250-million euro Sofia Airport Center development.
