Point Shopping Center in Zagreb’s district Vrbani opened for visitors today. New stores will open and new interesting amenities will be introduced almost daily in September, culminating in a big welcome party for the neighbourhood that will be organized on September 26, when stores will present their entire product ranges and amenities they have prepared for the visitors of Point Shopping Center. With a surface area of around 40,000 m2 stretching over four underground and two above ground stories, the centre houses more than 50 stores with almost 14,000 m2 of sales area and a garage with 500 parking spots.

Well known British fashion brand Next presented its products for the first time in Croatia at Point Shopping Center, and the Swedish fashion chain Lindex introduced its XXL range GENEROUS offering 42+ sizes. In addition to Next and Lindex, Point will also be home to well known brands like Benetton, dm and Konzum, and other popular fashion, entertainment and gastronomy brands are expected to join them.

The first shopping centre designed for the neighbourhood is the new hangout and shopping, entertainment and leisure venue for the residents of western Zagreb and other parts of town. Point stands out among Zagreb’s other shopping destinations by focusing on the residents of the surrounding district and by catering to their everyday needs with its choice of stores and various amenities for all ages.

In addition to a number of fashion and footwear stores, technical equipment stores, and grocery stores, the centre offers restaurants, sports and recreational amenities, and amenities for children, including children’s play area and the gym Invictus stretching over 700 m2. Its special feature is its large open air terrace where visitors can get together for drinks or enjoy music evenings, fashion shows, after work parties, or one of the other events the organizers are planning soon. The centre also houses useful services such as post office and bank, which allow visitors to take care of all their various errands at a single location.

Point Shopping Center is built in accordance with the latest standards in sustainability, modern architecture and innovative spaces. Sonae Sierra, a company specializing in shopping malls, provided development management services and Bluehouse Capital is the project’s investor.
