Property Xpress Co-organizing Bulgaria’s Largest Hotel Conference

May 23, 2018, 17:53 (PX Newswire)

Property Xpress is co-organizing Bulgaria’s largest hospitality conference – the Hotel & Tourism Investment Forum (HTIF). This year’s novelty is that the conference will extend across two days, June 6 and June 7.

The Hotel & Tourism Investment Forum (HTIF) is one of the leading Eastern European hospitality and travel conferences, covering a broad range of industry-related topics and bringing more than 200 hotel investors, senior directors of international and local hotel groups, tour operators, technology providers, as well as government and municipal officials in one place – to network, learn, discuss and make deals.

Southeastern Europe is still one of the least developed regions in Europe in terms of market penetration of international brands. On the other hand, the figures show that 8.9 million foreign tourists visited Bulgaria in 2017 – a 7.6% increase compared to 2016. This, along with the increase in domestic travel led to an 8.9% increase in the hotel ADR and 12.4% increase in RevPar, last year. By comparison, the ADR increase in Romania was 6.6% (€71.4) in 2017 and the RevPAR reached €49.3, a 9.2% increase, YoY, according to STR.

As seen above, Bulgaria’s tourism industry has been growing in recent years, and the Hotel & Tourism Investment Forum is committed to contributing to its further growth by attracting leading experts to share their expertise, positive and empowering case studies and know-how and providing a number of networking opportunities.

10+ discussion topics
Some of the discussion topics that help delegates deep-dive into the regional trends, challenges and opportunities:

• Travel Innovators and disruptors: which companies, technologies and solutions are changing the industry (and how to make use of them)?
